What is heavy metal poisoning?

Heavy metal poisoning occurs when metals enter the soft tissues of the body.

Long-term exposure to heavy metals can cause the symptoms seen in degenerative conditions, such as Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease. In some cases, long-term exposure to some metals may even cause cancer.

Some examples of heavy metals include:

Heavy metals can enter our bodies through food and environmental factors. Some sources of heavy metals include:

  • soil erosion
  • mining
  • industrial waste
  • fossil fuel emissions
  • pesticides on crops
  • wastewater
  • smoking tobacco

According to a 2019 review, heavy metal poisoning is a common health issue due to the prevalence of industrial, agricultural, and sewage waste.

Myth: Drinking lots of water will help you flush toxins out of all areas of your body.

This is partly true. If not combined with toxine ´catchers´the drining will speed up the ciruclation of toxins....

Toxins are in most foods and especially foods that are not labelled eco.

Toxins bind with fat. They are stored in the body with fat cells. Now when we exercise or fast (sleep is also a fast) then they are released.

They are in airco spaces,  in the ´normal´soap, in the tap water, every where.

  • So it is wise to filter the water with a good water filter system
  • To buy eco or products straight from known non spray sources
  • To use toxine´binders´. I have done 24 year research to find out what is the best way to detox and we integrate a lot of the findings in the Holistic Oasis concepts. The total will be integrated in the Retreats

In the morning at the office and even at home the employees and CEO drink the detox drink. At home they can start with tonquescraping, then the activated charcoal mixed with the filtered water from their water filter. They then fill their copper water bottle and go to the office. At the office is the signature detox drink ready to drink after their slowjogging around the building, climing the stairs instead of the lift.

Benefits of detox procedures like the morning detox drink

  • This will help your immune system and make you feel better overall
  • Decreased heartburn
  • Drinking detox water first thing in the morning will clean your stomach acid and flush residu of foods from the day before. If you dont do this the food will mix with this residue and you will feel the acidic feeling
  • Improves Mental Clarity
  • Boosts Energy Levels
  • Improves Digestion
  • Supports Weight Loss
  • Clears the Skin
  • Joint pain relief – removing gluten, dairy and sugar from the diet while flooding the body with antioxidants reduces inflammation that is often correlated with swelling and pain, especially in the joints.
  • Boosts Immune System
  • Reduces Inflammation
  • Promotes Healthy Eating Habits

Activated charcoal, is charcoal that had a special treatments that created imicro pores these absorb the toxins safely and bring these outside via the digestive tract.acts like a magnet, binding to toxins in the body and flushing them out. Doctors and hospitals sometimes use activated charcoal if people have ingested certain poisons. The charcoal binds to the poison in the digestive tract, preventing the gut from absorbing it. Other potential uses for activated charcoal include filtering impurities during food and drink

NOTE: Activated charcoal is so great toxine absorbant that can prevent the proper absorption of medications. If you’ve spoken with your doctor about taking activated charcoal, it’s recommended that there’s at least a two-hour window between taking the activated charcoal and your medications.

The chellation goes via chellators good ones are MSM, chlorella, spiurulina, cilantro

Cilantro leaves (Coriandrum sativum) is often cited for its potential role in detoxifying heavy metals from the body, particularly due to its ability to bind with these metals and facilitate their excretion.

https://www.quora.com/How-does-cilantro-chelate-heavy-metals-from-the-body

Chlorella is one of the most widely cultivated microalgae species worldwide owing to its extraordinary photosynthetic efficacy, quick growth rate, and nutritional value (Manzoor et al., 2019). Among the Chlorella species, Chlorella vulgaris is frequently reported for its potential in heavy metal elimination.

Mechanism of Chelation

  1. Chemical Structure: Cilantro contains various compounds, including essential oils and phytochemicals such as chlorophyll, which can interact with heavy metals. The chemical structure of these compounds allows them to bind with heavy metals, forming complexes.
  2. Binding with Metals: The active compounds in cilantro, such as its acids (like ascorbic acid) and sulfur-containing compounds, can bind to heavy metals like lead, mercury, and cadmium. This binding reduces the metals' bioavailability, making them less likely to be absorbed by the body.
  3. Facilitating Excretion: Once heavy metals are bound to the compounds in cilantro, these complexes can be more easily excreted through urine or feces. This process is known as chelation, where the chelating agent (in this case, cilantro) removes toxic metals from the body.

Other detox

  • Dietary fiber: Various fiber-rich foods, such as fruit and vegetables, nuts, seeds, spices, herbs, may help remove heavy metals. Researchers have found fiber to reduce mercury levels in the brain and blood.
  • Chlorella: Studies have shown that chlorella increases mercury detoxification in mice.
  • Chloropfyl rich foods every thing green
  • Foods containing sulfur: Foods rich in sulfur, such as garlic. MSM may be good chelators. Research has suggested that garlic may have prevented kidney damage from cadmium and reduced lead-related oxidative damage in rats.
  • Cilantro: Cilantro may helpTrusted Source, but currently, limited evidence supports this. In an animal study, cilantro decreased the absorption of lead into bone. In a trial looking at children with lead exposure, cilantro was as effective as a placebo.

The same review also lists some supplements that may work to chelate heavy metals from the body:

  • Glutathione: Certain forms of glutathionemay protect cells from the oxidative damage that heavy metals can cause.
  • Sulfur-containing amino acids: Examples of these are taurine and methionine.
  • Alpha-lipoic acid: Alpha-lipoic acid is a strong antioxidant that can renew other antioxidants in the body and chelate metals from the body.
  • Selenium: Selenium may help remove mercury from the body. Research suggests organic selenium supplementation benefited people with mercury exposure.

Activated carbon

is a fine, black powder that is odorless, tasteless, and nontoxic carbon that has been treated with oxygen. The treatment results in a highly porous charcoal. This carbon adsorbs a wide range of impurities and contaminants, including chlorine, odors, and pigments. Activated charcoal is also used in water filters and chemical purification processes. What not: substances, like sodium, fluoride, and nitrates, are not as attracted to the carbon. Contaminants are also removed more effectively if they are in contact with the activated charcoal for a longer time. Due to its high degree of microporosity, just one gram of activated carbon has a surface area in excess of 500 m2.

Historically uses it is used after a person swallows or absorbs almost any toxic drug or chemical. Activated charcoal is considered to be the most effective single agent available. Great for healthdetox for a week or on a daily base. Because we live in a toxic world.

History: in 1831 Professor Touery showed the detoxifying properties in front of his distinguished colleagues at the French Academy of Medicine when he drank a lethal dose of strychnine and lived to tell the tale. He had combined the deadly poison with activated charcoal.

Effects:

1/ Anti heart burn. Gastroesophageal reflux is a digestive disorder that occurs when stomach acid travels back up your esophagus. This can cause a burning sensation in your chest, known as heartburn, that tends to get worse after eating or when lying down and can be quite painful. Activated charcoal can help treat both conditions by soaking up the excess acid in your stomach.

2/ Anti poisoning. Activated charcoal is most effective in treating cases of poisoning if it is taken immediately after the toxin is ingested or within 30 minutes. While there are differing views on how much activated charcoal you should take, the substance is harmless as a one-off dose, and you should therefore take a minimum of 50 g to ensure maximum absorption of the toxin.

3/ Stomach Bloating With its ability to absorb most poisons, charcoal can also be very effective in soaking up the gases and bacteria that accumulate in your gut and intestines. These substances are much less harmful than ingesting a poison, but they can cause uncomfortable bloating and flatulence. If you are suffering from either of these conditions, taking two charcoal tablets three times a day can help absorb the offending gases and help give your stomach a flatter appearance.

4/ Anti-Aging and Detoxification Activated charcoal's ability to absorb toxins means that some believe it is an effective detoxification agent and anti-aging treatment. The theory is that by absorbing chemicals, activated charcoal can reduce allergies and diseases they may cause as well as they damage they can do to your skin.

5/ Dental bleach. Tannins (found in foods, coffee, tea, wine, etc.) are typically what cause staining and dinginess of the enamel of your teeth. Activated charcoals loves the tannins.

Activated charcoal has been used, for at least a century, in things like toothpastes and tooth powders. DIY recipe: mix coconut oil (melted), with activated charcoal, drops of peppermint oil, bit baking soda. Put in jar there is your toothpaste. Use: take always a clean spoon scoop some on your toothbrush.

Mix together a scant 1/2 tsp activated charcoal powder with about 1/2-1 Tbsp water swish it around in your mouth for 15-30 seconds. Hold it in front of your front teeth for 3-5 minutes. Rinse your mouth – very well

NOTES! It is also recommended you wait a few hours between taking any other medication and taking charcoal to allow your medications time to absorb into your system. If you experience constipation, vomiting, stomach pain and diarrhea as a result of taking activated charcoal -- or your heartburn gets worse -- stop taking it and seek medical advice.
Side Effects Severe adverse effects are not reported as yet. It should not be administered with other medications as it may adsorb the ingredients and lower the effectiveness of the medicines. The long-term health effects of using activated charcoal are not clear. Hence, children, pregnant women, old people and those with underlying health conditions should abstain from using activated charcoal.

MSM

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a sulfur-containing compound found in plants, animals, and humans. It can also be made in a lab into a dietary supplement, which is used widely in alternative medicine. MSM is often used by people looking for a natural way to relieve joint pain, reduce inflammation, and boost immunity

is rich in organic sulphur, an important ‘building block’ for healthy bones and joints, and it’s very useful for your immune system. Available evidence from short-term RCTs shows that MSM may have a moderate effect in improving joint pain and swelling as well as general functional wellbeing in people with osteoarthritis

https://versusarthritis.org/about-arthritis/complementary-and-alternative-treatments/types-of-complementary-treatments/msm/

MSM is alluded to be an effective agent against muscle soreness because of its anti-inflammatory effects as well as its possible sulfur contribution to connective tissue. Endurance exercise-induced muscle damage was reduced with MSM supplementation, as measured by creatine kinase

Laboratory studies have found that MSM has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Sulphur, which is a major component of MSM, plays an important role in making collagen and glucosamine, both of which are vital for healthy bones and joints, and in the production of immunoglobulins, which help your immune system.

Chlorella

is a food supplement based on chlorella algae with detox properties for the body that helps eliminate toxins and heavy metals from the intestine. In addition, thanks to its chlorophyll, protein, vitamin and mineral content, it provides high nutritional value to improve daily health and well-being.

By making changes to their diet, a person may be able to reduce the levels of heavy metals in their body more gradually. Certain foods, such as spirulina and cilantro, may help transport excess heavy metals out of the body

Apple cider vinegar

unpasteurised > Does apple cider vinegar with the mother have probiotics? Called "the mother," this substance is made up of settled bacteria and yeast. Some people give the mother credit for ACV's health benefits. And it's thought to contain small amounts of probiotics (healthy bacteria) that are good for gut heal

While your body can detoxify itself, some people use an apple cider vinegar detox to begin changing their diet. Consuming apple cider vinegar in moderation may provide some health benefits.

The supposed benefits you may gain from an apple cider vinegar detox are both internal and external. They include:

  • giving the body a good dose of enzymes
  • increasing potassium intake
  • supporting a healthy immune system
  • helping with weight control
  • promoting pH balance in the body
  • aiding with healthy digestion
  • adding good bacteria for the gut and immune function
  • helping remove “sludge toxins” from the body
  • soothing skin and helping keep it healthy
  • healing acne when used externally

You may hear that apple cider vinegar helps reduce appetite and even burn fat. There’s also evidence to suggest that adding apple cider vinegar to your daily routine may help with type 2 diabetes and high cholesterol.

What to know before you try this detox

Make sure it’s diluted with water. Apple cider vinegar in its pure form is acidic. It may erode tooth enamel or even burn your mouth and throat.

If you do choose to do the detox, be sure to rinse your mouth with water after drinking the vinegar. You may even want to drink it through a straw. Even just one glass a day may be enough to negatively affect your teeth.

Apple cider vinegar may also interact with different medications or supplements. In particular, it may contribute to low potassium levels if you take diuretics or insulin.

If you take diuretics or insulin, talk to your doctor before you start consuming apple cider vinegar regularly or try the detox.

People who have tried an apple cider detox do share that you may have some nausea or stomach discomfort after drinking it. This discomfort is usually worse in the morning hours when your stomach is empty.

Fiber

Many studies show that daily consumption of high-fiber diet reduces the risk of developing kidney stonesinflammatory disease and other malignancies, obesity, type II diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. Dietary fibers are non-digestible polysaccharides that are composed of complex carbohydrates. Based on their relative solubility in water, dietary fibers can be divided into insoluble and soluble forms.

An important property of insoluble fibers is the ability to bind with carcinogens, mutagens, and other toxic chemicals that are formed during digestion of food, and eliminate them through the feces.

thereby aiding in eliminating toxins from the body.

  • Second, fiber may support detoxification through its systemic benefits in supporting healthy microbial environments, gut barrier function, healthy inflammatory and immune responses, and by potentially activating detoxifying enzymes in the liver, such as cytochrome P450 enzymes in phase I detoxification.

https://www.casi.org/the-role-of-soluble-fiber-in-detoxification

  • Dietary fiber has been shown to increase the activity of antioxidant and detox enzymes in your liver. It can alter bile acid pools. These pools are involved in liver metabolism and the absorption of fats and fat-soluble vitamins. Dietary fiber also supports the microbiota that help generate secondary bile acids.

  • An important property of insoluble fibers is the ability to bind with carcinogens, mutagens, and other toxic chemicals that are formed during digestion of food, and eliminate them through the feces. Soluble fibers can be degraded to short-chain fatty acids, such as butyrate, propionate, and acetate by fermentation.
